Transition Patrol Carbon
The Patrol Carbon is the highly decorated premium option to our well regarded aluminum Patrol that grabbed Dirt Magazine’s top 100 products of 2016. All the great features of the aluminum Patrol with a large reduction in weight and no compromise in strength. The carbon front triangle, seatstays and chainstays provide a crisp and responsive ride with excellent trail feel. Featuring all the same geometry and GiddyUp suspension the Patrol Carbon is even more capable up and down mountains. The fully guided internal cable routing for rear brake, derailleur and seatpost are easy to use and rattle free. The collet main pivot keeps the rear end stiff and the threaded bottom bracket is a mechanics dream. With around a 600 gram weight savings over the aluminum Patrol the Patrol Carbon climbs like an E-bike, and descends like a downhill bike.

“Its 155mm rear and 160 mm travel up front with roomy geometry adds up to a very controlled bike, with that low standover aiding body movements, for there will be plenty as it’s a very lively ride. For many people the big news is that for 2016 its now going to be available in carbon. Yes its got smoother lines, but they are the same lines, we’re more than happy with the aluminium bike, but whatever material its one of our favourite 150-160 bikes of the year.” – Dirt Magazine Click here for the full article
“The Patrol Carbon is the most versatile all-mountain bike that I can remember riding. It’s slack and forgiving like a proper enduro race bike should be, but then it seems to transform into not just a completely manageable package when the terrain isn’t burly, but one that’s an absolute blast to ride. Transition hasn’t employed any buttons or dials to change the bike’s geometry, either, but rather just built a smart, easy to live with bike that’s fun to ride everywhere and anywhere” – Mike Levy, Pinkbike Click here for the full review
“While it’s not downhill season in the PNW, I’ve taken the Patrol to one of our local shuttle spots on several occasions and actually preferred the Patrol over my downhill bike on those trails The confidence-inspiring geometry combined with the bottomless feel of the GiddyUp suspension allows me to charge like I’m riding my big bike.” – Eric Brown, Freehub Magazine Click here for the full review
